7. Harmonique Home
1820 Solano Avenue, C2, Berkeley

Meet San Francisco artist Agelio Batle at Harmonique Home on the first Friday of November. His works have been featured in the San Francisco Museum Of Modern Art and he has created custom objects for The National Geographic, The Noguchi Museum, and Aquatica. Agelio's pieces are both poetic metaphors and functioning drawing tools; all of the surfaces can write. Committed to making art from materials that are part of daily experience, the artist originated this work by casting his own hand (Drawing Hand No.1) in pencil lead, graphite, each day for the calendar year 1999. Wishing to share the insights gleaned from that sculptural process with a wider public, he started a series of graphite art objects of all walks of life - dragonflies to ginger root to trout-shaped graphite pieces. We invite you to meet Agelio Batle and discover his wonderful creative instuments. Graphite objects available for purchase. Hosted cocktails and nibbles.

Nancy Wilder for December Art Attack. From her sunburst tees to her retro camp shirts, Nancy's cool and comfortable designs are store favorites.
Nancy learned the art of felting while in Australia on a surf vacation several years ago. Since then she has been incorporating her love of fiber art into her clothing design, and having quite the adventure with color, texture, and finding enough time to do it all!
Being warm and comfortable while keeping it stylish is her first priority. Her felted accessories, with their depth of color and subtle shadings, become veritable works of art you will love to wear.
